A Friend In Need

We all have those times in our lives when we realise we've grown apart of certain friends and realise that sometimes it doesn't mean they aren't good people, you're just different people. It happened to me when I started work and my friends went to Uni. They changed, I changed and we just didn't have anything in common any more. It hurt, especially because my two other friends still made time for each other and were getting along better than ever. I'd been best friends with these girls all through high school and it took a lot for me to realise we just weren't as good as friends as we use to be.

One of my best friends now, Karina, is having a similar problem with her friends from high school. She's been trying for some time to 're-connect' but it just isn't working. So today's post goes out to Karrie to tell her its okay, that people change and it doesn't mean they aren't "good" or "interesting" anymore, it just means they're different and they look for different things in the people they spend their time with.
